Electric Universe Conference Videos — The Complete Archive

For a decade the Thunderbolts Project ran an annual conference where the Electric Universe made its fullest case — physicists, engineers, and mythologists presenting the theory across two or three days. Seven US conferences (2012–2017) plus two UK events (2018–2019) were filmed, and almost all of it is now free on YouTube. This page is a complete, verified map: every official playlist, the highlight talks worth starting with, and an honest note on what's free, what's missing, and where the series went after 2017.

EU2012 — The Human Story · Las Vegas

The first annual conference. Only ten talks reached YouTube (the full program was sold as DVDs), but they include foundational statements:

After David Talbott's stroke forced cancellation of the planned 2019 US conference, Electric Universe UK carried the torch with Reconnect 2018 and Dynamic Earth 2019 in Bath. These talks live on the separate Electric Universe UK channel (not split into per-year playlists):

What happened after 2017

There was no EU2018 US conference, the 2019 US event was cancelled after David Talbott's stroke, and Wal Thornhill died on 7 February 2023. No EU2024/EU2025 conferences exist — reports of them are mistaken. The project continues as a weekly video operation; the natural bridge from the conference era to today is Talbott's address The Electric Universe in 2019 & Beyond.

Beyond the conferences

The conference talks are the tip of a very large archive. The recurring series:

• Space News from the Electric Universe — 400+ short news episodes (2014–2020), the EU's running commentary on space-science headlines

A note on cost: everything released from EU2012–EU2017 is now free on the official channel. The historical paywalls were temporary — EU2012 was sold on DVD, and EU2016/EU2017 used a $29 streaming "rebroadcast" through August 2018 before the talks went up free. That rebroadcast era is why the EU2012 and EU2016 YouTube sets are incomplete. Books and DVDs are sold through shops linked from thunderbolts.info.
